Sustainability is a long-running engineering problem, not a marketing one. Our 2026 report breaks down where every kilowatt-hour of our energy came from and what we’re doing to drive that mix cleaner.
Energy mix by region
Our European facilities are now matched 100% with renewable PPAs on an annual basis. North American facilities are at 78% and on track to hit 100% by 2027 as new wind and solar PPAs come online.
Hardware lifecycle
We extended average server lifecycle from 5 to 7 years across our fleet. The embodied carbon of new hardware is significant, and reducing replacement frequency is one of the highest-leverage things a hosting company can do.
